There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.
My name is Charel Klein. I was born in Luxembourg in 1992.
I am currently studying forestry at the "University for Natural Resources and Life Science" (BOKU) in Vienna, Austria.
In 2012 I obtained my secondary school degree at the "Lycée Technique Agricole" (LTA) in Ettelbrück, Luxembourg.
From 2013-2016 I studied forestry and environment at the "Albert-Ludwigs-University" in Freiburg, Germany.
I found my way into photography by chance:
winning the first price at an amateur photo contest in 2010 - an SLR camera - was the trigger for my greatest passion until today.
One year later, I discovered ornithology for me, in a nature reserve in Camargue, France.
Combining my two passions has been filling most of my free time ever since.
The combination of ornithology and photography led me to my third pastime: travelling and exploring the world.
